Gracie Frazier of EKU Softball is the NCAA Woman of the Year nominee

For her efforts on and off the field, Gracie Frazier, a former outfielder for the EKU softball team, has been nominated for the 2022 NCAA Woman of the Year award. As a student majoring in exercise and sport science with a 4.0 cumulative GPA, Frazier served as the SAAC president.

 

As SAAC president, Frazier oversaw the organization’s social media, managed the organization’s meetings and events with the SAAC staff representative, attended staff meetings for the athletic department, planned the SAAC Easter Egg Hunt for the Richmond community, organized SAAC’s student tailgates, worked hard on Operation Christmas Child to help collect gifts for needy families during the holidays, and assisted with the “Jock ‘N’ Roll” talent show to raise money to send a U.S. athlete to the Olympics. She participated in a variety of campus events, such as the weekly “Huddle Meeting.”
