Roofs are becoming more and more popular around MLB, but there were some strange occurrences on Sunday in Houston.
Roof can’t keep everything out
Minute Maid Park was one of the first stadiums in MLB to install a retractable roof and sometimes things fall through the cracks. Sunday was one of those times as KHOU 11 News Houston found out during a downpour.

Fair or foul?
Also in Houston, Chad Pinder hit a high pop fly and the ball oddly came crashing back down into play, seemingly hitting part of the roof at Minute Made Park, which led to many questions.
Well, it appears Chad Pinder hit a high pop that struck the ceiling and dropped for a two-run double.

Beehives for bullpens
Perhaps a name change is in store in Los Angeles. Instead of the bullpens, perhaps they should be called beehives as a swarm of bees invaded the bullpens and led to a delay in the game.

Milestone hit for Pujols
Albert Pujols has been one of the best hitters in MLB history and Sunday was a reminder of that as he passed Ichiro on the league’s all-time list with No. 3,090.

Benches clear in Pittsburgh
Of course the biggest development of the day was bench-clearing brawl in the Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds game that lead to five ejections, including Yaisel Puig.
