Indiana Pacers vs Miami Heat Game 3 on ESPN on Saturday Night

NBA Playoff Odds: The Eastern Conference Semifinals heads to Miami for Game 3 on Saturday night as the Miami Heat host the Indiana Pacers. The teams split their two games at Indiana so now the home court edge is with the Miami Heat. Not only have the Indiana Pacers lost the home court advantage, they may also be without their most important player, Paul George, as he suffered a concussion in Game 2. Here is a look at the matchup for Saturday night and NBA playoff predictions.

Game 3 Odds: Miami Heat -7, total 182.5

LeBon James and Dwyane Wade

The Indiana Pacers were looking really good in Game 2 and looking at a 2-0 lead in the series and then the best two players on the court took over. “We got back to playing Miami Heat basketball,” James said. James and Wade combined to score the final 20 points of the game for the Miami Heat. “The fourth quarters are our moments,” Wade said. The big stars also played defense and the commitment to defense was why the Miami Heat won Game 2. “We flew around and covered for another,” James said. “Even when we made mistakes we still covered for one another.”

Series Notes

These teams have split their last ten meetings both straight up and against the spread. It has been a home team series for the most part as the Miami Heat have won 8 of the last 10 against the Indiana Pacers. They have covered six of the last ten. Six of the last ten in Miami have gone over the total.

NBA Playoff Predictions

The Indiana Pacers played well in the first two games of this series but you can almost see a clunker coming. And there is a chance the team will be without guard Paul George. I think the bad Indiana Pacers could show up again in Game 3 so I will lay the points with the Miami Heat and also play the game over the total.
