The No. 18 Iowa Hawkeyes (6-2) will attempt to lengthen their six-game winning streak against the Iowa State Cyclones (7-1) at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The game starts at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, December 6, 2018.

Iowa State Cyclones vs. Iowa Hawkeyes Betting Prediction

The last time the Cyclones played, they thoroughly outplayed the Alabama State Hornets, 79-53. The Cyclones had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (36.1 vs. 23.7) and had a much better turnover percentage (16.7 vs. 25.2). With 17 points on 7-for-9 shooting, Michael Jacobson was the top scorer from either team.

The Hawkeyes defeated the UMKC Kangaroos in their last matchup, 77-63. Getting to the charity stripe was one of Iowa’s largest strengths. They had 38 free throw attempts, 26 more than UMKC. With 12 points, eight rebounds and five assists, Tyler Cook had a solid performance for Iowa.
