Linebacker Bobby Wagner wants to retire as a Seattle Seahawk eventually, but with the way the team has been shedding veteran contracts, especially on the defensive side of the ball, he’s expanded his NFL plans beyond the Pacific Northwest. Wagner is in the final year of his contract and will make $10.5 million in 2019. Last year Wagner recorded 138 tackles, six for a loss, 11 passes defended, one interception returned for a touchdown, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Joe Horn Jr. gets shot with Ravens

Joe Horn Jr., the son of former New Orleans Saints wide receiver Joe Horn, has received a tryout invite to Baltimore Ravens minicamp. Horn Jr. was a standout for NCAA Division II Missouri Western where he caught 15 passes for 246 yards.

Will Prescott get his new deal before opening day?

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is up for a contract extension as he enters the last year of his rookie deal. Prescott is 32-16 as an NFL starter and led the Cowboys to the postseason twice. Last year he completed 67.7 percent of his passes for 3,885 yards, 22 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Owner Jerry Jones is hoping to get Prescott’s contract done before the 2019 regular season starts.
