Jacksonville Dolphins at Bethune-Cookman Wildcats ATS Prediction

In the Dolphins’ last contest, they were defeated by the Florida A&M Rattlers, 65-50. Florida A&M’s effective field goal percentage was their largest advantage over Jacksonville. The Rattlers had a rate of 0.547, while the Dolphins posted a mark of 0.298. Dave Bell was the game’s high scorer with 12 points on 4-for-6 shooting.

The Wildcats got blown out by the DePaul Blue Demons in their last matchup, 80-58. One of DePaul’s biggest strengths was getting to the free throw line. They had 30 free throw attempts, while Bethune-Cookman had just 13. With 11 points and nine rebounds, Bethune-Cookman’s Cletrell Pope had a good game.

After the Wildcats won the only game against the Dolphins last season, 77-66, this will be the first matchup of the year between these two teams. The Wildcats knocked down 23 of their 28 free throws (82.1 percent) and had a much better turnover percentage (14.1 vs. 19.4).

There should be a fair amount of transition offense in this meeting that features two of the nation’s more up-and-down teams. Bethune-Cookman ranks 41st in possessions per game (74.0) and Jacksonville is 54th (75.1).
