The Mountain Hawks are hoping for a better outcome after their 85-83 loss to the Bucknell Bison in their last matchup. Bucknell out-rebounded Lehigh. The Bison had 12 offensive rebounds and 41 total rebounds, while the Mountain Hawks had four and 29, respectively. Kyle Leufroy was the top scorer from either team with 26 points on 9-for-15 shooting.

In the Midshipmen’s last matchup, they lost to the Army West Point Black Knights, 72-61. One of Army West Point’s biggest strengths was their ability to convert at the free throw line. They were 15-17 (88.2 percent), while the Midshipmen were just 5-8 (62.5 percent). With 12 points and 11 rebounds, Navy’s Evan Wieck had a solid game.

After the Midshipmen won both meetings against the Mountain Hawks last season, this will be the first matchup of the year between these two teams. In the most recent matchup, Navy won 77-75. Navy had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (33.3 vs. 21.7). Lehigh, meanwhile, did an excellent job of converting from the charity stripe (15-18; 83.3 percent).

The offensive glass could be a solid edge for Navy in this showdown. The Midshipmen rank 73rd in offensive rebounding percentage (32.3 percent), while Lehigh ranks 237th in defensive rebounding percentage (70.7 percent).
