Liberty Flames – Longwood Lancers Preview – 02.13.2016

It will be a battle between Big South opponents when the Longwood Lancers (8-18) welcome the Liberty Flames (11-15) to Willett Hall. The game gets underway at 2:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 13.

The Lancers lost to Winthrop 88-80 on Thursday. Darrion Allen was the team’s high scorer, contributing 19 points. The Flames, meanwhile, are coming off an 80-76 win over High Point on Saturday. A.C. Reid shot 5 for 9 and led in scoring with 16 points.

Over the last five games, Lotanna Nwogbo has been playing at a high level for the Lancers. During that stretch, he has averaged 17.8 points, 11.2 rebounds, 1.0 assist, and 1.4 blocks.

This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Flames won the first game 55-53. John Dawson was a standout player in the game, producing 14 points, nine rebounds, five assists, one steal, and four three-pointers.
