Lincoln Riley’s Contract and Last Chance U Returns

Lincoln Riley agreed to a new contract with the Oklahoma Sooners in late January, and now the contract’s details are emerging after a public records request was fulfilled. If Riley stays at Norman for the duration of the deal, he is set to make $32.5 million in five years, but that’s not what has people talking today. Riley has been a popular name in NFL circles, and many have speculated that he could make the leap to the NFL in 2020, especially if Kliff Kingsbury is a good fit in Arizona. He has a $4.6 million buyout if he leaves Oklahoma, but it drops by $1 million after every season.

Last Chance U has been one of the most popular television series since its inception in 2016. On Tuesday night, Netflix announced that the series would be returning to Kansas to cover Independence Community College once more. Head coach Jason Brown was forced to resign in February after telling a German player he was “your new Hitler”, and it will be interesting to see how the show covers that and other topics.

UCF has been a constant presence on social media over the last two seasons, and the Knights are at it again. Rival USF has tried to outdo UCF in the social media department since they haven’t been able to do it on the field, and the Knights are clapping back with a subtweet to the Bulls that asks for a ring check. USF has yet to win a conference title.
