Liverpool have opened contact over a move for Mexico midfielder Gilberto Mora after his breakout performances at the World Cup, according to TEAMtalk. The Reds are stepping up interest in the 17-year-old, who remains under contract with Club Tijuana until 2029 and is not eligible to move to Europe until he turns 18 later this year. Real Madrid and Barcelona are also reported admirers, while Manchester United are keeping tabs but are expected to prioritise other targets.

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing an £85 million bid for AFC Bournemouth forward Junior Kroupi, TalkSPORT reports. The 20-year-old France Under-21 international scored 13 goals in his debut Premier League campaign. Bournemouth are determined to retain him, but Spurs appear ready to test their resolve as they continue their summer spending.

Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement over personal terms with Monaco winger Maghnes Akliouche, RMC Sport reports. The 24-year-old has reportedly agreed a five-year contract with PSG after a season in which he registered 13 goal involvements in 31 Ligue 1 appearances. Negotiations between the clubs over a transfer fee are ongoing; Akliouche has been linked with a move in the region of €50 million.

Newcastle United are closing in on Ajax midfielder Sean Steur, Fabrizio Romano reports. The 18-year-old is said to be ready to move, with the total package reportedly exceeding €25 million. Talks are well underway between Newcastle and Ajax after Steur played 19 Eredivisie matches last season, scoring once, and earned three Netherlands U19 caps.

Arsenal are targeting reinforcements across several positions — a striker, a midfielder, a centre back or full back, and a goalkeeper — according to The Daily Mail. The report adds that Leandro Trossard is expected to join Besiktas for about €20 million, a departure that would likely prompt the Gunners to pursue a left-sided winger such as Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers or PSG’s Bradley Barcola. Other reported moves include Chelsea offering Jesse Derry a new deal (Football Insider), Liverpool signing Dara Jikiemi (Fabrizio Romano), Radu Drǎgușin heading to Fiorentina (Sky Sports News), Brentford set to sign Callum Wilson (Sky Sports News), Napoli preparing a new contract for Scott McTominay (Nicolo Schira), Atalanta closing on Gianluca Gaetano (Fabrizio Romano), Zion Suzuki declining Leeds (Nicolo Schira), and FC Cologne exploring a move for Edson Álvarez (Sky Germany).
