C.J. Wilson (1-2, 2.70 ERA) gets the ball for the Los Angeles Angels (15-17) as they meet Kyle Kendrick (1-4, 8.73 ERA) and the Colorado Rockies (11-17) in the first of a two-game series at Angel Stadium. The Rockies go into this series looking to snap a nine-game losing streak. The game gets underway at 10:05 p.m. ET on Tuesday, May. 12 and will air on ROOT-RM and FSN-W.

In his last start, Wilson pitched 7.0 innings, allowing two runs and striking out four in a 4-3 loss to the Mariners. Mike Trout (.307, 26 Rs, 9 HRs, 19 RBIs, 7 SBs) went 1 for 3 Sunday. The Rockies were unsuccessful the last time Kendrick pitched. He struggled, going, going 5.0 innings, giving up six runs and striking out two in an 8-6 loss to the Padres. Corey Dickerson (.302, 15 Rs, 5 HRs, 15 RBIs) has been doing well, going 2 for 3 Sunday.

Los Angeles, a -169 favorite, will look to capitalize at home against Colorado. The Over/Under (O/U) for the matchup is set at eight runs. The Angels are 11-10 as the favorite and have an overall money line of -405. They have an SU record of 0-3 against the NL. Los Angeles has averaged 2.0 runs per game during interleague play, lower than its season average of 3.7. Los Angeles’s pitchers struggle against teams that play in the National League.
