Main Events Odds For Sunday Wrestlemania 33

Main Events Odds For Sunday Wrestlemania 33 – This Sunday, April 3, sees the WWE roll out the biggest spectacle in Sports Entertainment and that is Wrestlemania.

This is the event’s 33rd edition and the WWE has several matches at the top of the card that are to serve as the main events. The WWE’s established World title is in the hands of sinister Bray Wyatt and he is facing the challenge of former ally Randy Orton, who happens to have already been champion about a dozen times or so in his long running career. Interesting to note for old-time wrestling fans, both men are third generation wrestlers as Wyatt is from the family of Blackjack Mulligan while Orton is following in the footsteps of both his father and grandfather. The WWE may be ready to give Orton another run with the belt. It might be more interesting if Wyatt had a more extended run as champion as this is his first title and he has held the belt just a couple of months.

Less intriguing is the Universal title match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. Goldberg enters the match with the belt and a 2-0 record in confrontations with Lesnar since his return six months ago, but most feel the feel-good return tour of Goldberg is going to be coming to an end. Goldberg sat out for 12 years before making a comeback last year and the 50-year-old is not able to handle the grind of the wrestling ring anymore. His in-ring fighting, especially his wins over Lesnar and his win over Kevin Owens that gave him the Universal belt, were carefully crafted appearances that amount to Goldberg dong about 2 minutes worth of work in the ring. What is expected here is for Lesnar to leave Orlando with the belt and for Goldberg to ride back off into retirement, and don’t blink because it may be fast.

Another 50-year-old is in action in the form of The Undertaker, who is reportedly in his retirement or final match against Roman Reigns. Reigns is being molded into the face of the company so many expect him to grab a win here. It would mean Reigns becomes just the second man to ever beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania, behind Lesnar. More intriguing about this fight is the rumors that Reigns will become a “bad guy” or “heel” in some way.

The WWE’s nostalgia acts at the top of the card make it look a little bit like a down Wrestlemania. However, you can consider that the table is probably being set for Lesnar vs Reigns at Wrestlemania 34. Below are the odds for the three features.
