Manchester United are among several top European clubs monitoring Mexico forward Gilberto Mora, according to TEAMtalk. The 17-year-old, who plays for Club Tijuana, made his first World Cup start in his country’s 3-0 victory over Czechia.

TEAMtalk also lists Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City as clubs following Mora. United are reportedly continuing their summer search for midfield reinforcements, with Sky Germany saying the Red Devils have stepped up their interest in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha; Manchester City, Liverpool and Real Madrid have also been linked with the 25-year-old.

Liverpool are reported by The Daily Mail to have a firm interest in Lille and Morocco midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi. The 18-year-old has attracted several suitors amid his World Cup displays, with Arsenal among the names mentioned and Lille reportedly expecting a fee of about €70 million.

The Daily Mail also reports that Newcastle rejected a second offer of £75 million from Tottenham Hotspur for Italy midfielder Sandro Tonali. In separate coverage, The Athletic says Neymar has withdrawn from talks to join MLS side FC Cincinnati amid frustration over the pace of discussions; Cincinnati never made a formal offer and Neymar remains open to joining an MLS team, The Athletic adds.

Fabrizio Romano reports Real Madrid have informed Como they will trigger a €9 million return clause for Argentina midfielder Nico Paz, though Los Blancos have set a €60 million valuation that could allow for other moves. ESPN sources say Manchester City reached an agreement with Nottingham Forest to sign England midfielder Elliot Anderson for a fixed fee of £116 million, a sum described as a British-record figure with no add-ons. ESPN also reports AC Milan rejected an approach from New York City FC for United States attacker Christian Pulisic.

Other reported links include Manchester City making fresh contact over Chelsea right back Malo Gusto (TEAMtalk), Jose Mourinho intending to keep Real Madrid striker Endrick (Marca), AC Milan submitting an offer for Goncalo Ramos (Fabrizio Romano), Guglielmo Vicario expected to leave Tottenham with a £20 million valuation (Football Insider), and AS Roma interest in Randal Kolo Muani (Ekrem Konur). Reports also say Sporting CP face hurdles in completing a deal for Joao Palhinha.
