Manchester United are preparing a double midfield move for Newcastle United’s Sandro Tonali and Atalanta’s Éderson, according to Sky Sports Italy. The report says United are optimistic about completing both signings in the summer after being linked with several midfield targets in recent months.

Tonali, 26, has been frequently linked with a reported £80 million exit from St. James’ Park following what Sky Sports Italy described as an underwhelming campaign for Newcastle. Atalanta are said to be willing to sell Éderson for around £50 million, though Atletico Madrid could provide competition for the midfielder.

Chelsea have entered the race to sign Bournemouth forward Junior Kroupi, The Daily Mail reports. The 19-year-old has scored 13 Premier League goals this season and has operated both as a striker and as an attacking midfielder. The Daily Mail says Chelsea have asked for updates on his situation while Arsenal are also tracking him, but Bournemouth are unlikely to want to move him on and he is under contract until 2030.

Manchester City have opened talks to sign Nottingham Forest and England midfielder Elliot Anderson, according to Nicolo Schira. Schira reports an agreement in principle has been reached with the 23-year-old on a five-year contract and City are now seeking to agree a transfer fee. Sources cited by ESPN in April indicated any deal could require an offer in the region of £120 million.

The Daily Mail says Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon is expected to join Bayern Munich for around €80 million, with the Magpies already exploring replacements including Lille’s Matias Fernandez-Pardo. TEAMtalk also reports Bayern are monitoring Newcastle left back Lewis Hall, with Liverpool and Manchester United among other clubs showing interest.

TEAMtalk adds that Arsenal and Juventus are eyeing Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders amid growing uncertainty over his playing time. Reijnders has contributed to seven goals in 27 Premier League appearances this season and could be moved on for a fee near £45 million, the report says. Additional items include Barcelona’s interest in Julian Alvarez with Atletico Madrid reportedly valuing him at €100 million (Fabrizio Romano), and reports Bruno Fernandes is expected to remain at Manchester United after Champions League qualification (Fabrizio Romano).
