The Marist Red Foxes (4-11) look to end their five-game losing streak when they match up with the Saint Peter’s Peacocks (6-8) at Yanitelli Center. The game starts at 2:00 pm ET on Sunday, Jan. 17.

The Peacocks were victorious over Canisius 70-53 in their last game. Trevis Wyche was the game’s high scorer with 16 points on 7-for-11 shooting. The Red Foxes, meanwhile, are coming off a bitter 102-100 loss to Rider in their last outing. Brian Parker had a solid game, recording his second double-double of the season with 28 points and 13 rebounds.

Parker has been on a tear over the last five games for the Red Foxes, averaging 18.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.8 three-pointers.

Second-chance opportunities are expected to be few and far between for the Red Foxes in this contest. They rank 346th in the nation in offensive rebounding (OR% of 21.4%), while Saint Peter’s is 19th-best in the nation on the defensive backboards (DR% of 75.6%).

This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Peacocks won the first game 68-60. Wyche was a top performer in the victory with 16 points, three rebounds, two assists, three steals, and two three-pointers.

Saint Peter’s, an eight-point favorite, will look to capitalize at home against Marist. The Over/Under (O/U) for the matchup is set at 135 points. The Peacocks look to improve upon their records of 6-8 Straight Up (SU) and 7-3 Against The Spread (ATS).

On the other side, the Red Foxes have had some success covering the spread, going 6-3-1 ATS. They’ve struggled to get the wins though, holding a SU record of 4-11.

Following the Peacocks’ latest win over Marist, Saint Peter’s is still behind in the head-to-head record over their most recent meetings, 4-6 SU. The Red Foxes also hold the advantage ATS with a record of 9-1. When it comes to field goals, rebounds, and three-pointers, Saint Peter’s held the edge in all three of these categories once in the last five meetings. Marist never did so in those games.
