Marshawn Lynch has moved quickly through a variety of projects in recent weeks, appearing on screen, working behind a camera and making multiple high-profile motorsports appearances.
Season 3 of Euphoria premiered April 12, with the former Pro Bowl running back listed among the cast. Lynch’s role on the HBO series is the latest in an acting path that already includes a 2023 Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Breakthrough Performance for his role as Mr. G in the comedy film Bottoms. “He has this natural charisma,” castmate Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje told the New York Times. “It’s like an innate confidence, a sense of self, and he oozes that.”
Late April saw Lynch in the NASCAR paddock at Talladega Superspeedway in Lincoln, Alabama, where he attended the 2026 Ag-Pro 300 and the 2026 Jack Link’s 500 on consecutive days. Those Talladega stops followed a visit to the Daytona 500 earlier in the year.
Lynch has also continued his work as a photographer. After shooting NFL games last year, he added mixed-martial-arts events to his portfolio by working behind the camera at a Most Valuable Promotions fight card headlined by Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano. Rousey once outwrestled Lynch on the reality competition show Stars on Mars, a detail noted in coverage of the card.
Rounding out a packed schedule, Lynch was the subject of a comedy roast on Kevin Hart’s Netflix series Funny AF, which premiered April 27. Nicknamed “Beast Mode” during his playing days, Lynch’s recent activities reflect a continued push into varied post-football ventures.
