If the Buffalo Bills are going to compete in the AFC East, they need to be right about quarterback Josh Allen. After a rookie season all over the place, Allen looks better according to teammate LeSean McCoy.

“I think he looks more confident,” McCoy said. “I think last year he just played off talent. Sometimes, when quarterbacks are really talented, you overlook how smart they really are. Josh is smart.”

Colts want more for Brissett than teams are willing to give

Jacoby Brissett has proven himself a capable backup quarterback in the NFL with a long and lucrative career ahead of him. Heading into the final year of his rookie deal, the Indianapolis Colts have taken multiple calls to trade him, but have priced him out of the market. According to general manager Chris Ballard, it would take an offer that “blew him away.” Brissett will be a free agent next season.

Do the Lions want to trade Marvin Jones?

For reasons that seem unclear, the Detroit Lions are determined to remove all the talent from their wide receiver corps. The latest trade rumors surround wide receiver Marvin Jones, though he’s expected to at least start the season with the team.
