Miami Marlins – Arizona Diamondbacks Preview – 06.10.2016

Patrick Corbin (3-5, 4.73 ERA) and Justin Nicolino (2-3, 4.37 ERA) take the hill in the first of a three-game series between the Arizona Diamondbacks (26-36) and the Miami Marlins (31-29) at Chase Field. Action begins at 9:40 p.m. ET on Friday, Jun. 10 and can be seen on FSAZ and FSFL.

Corbin pitched 7.0 innings in his last outing, surrendering two runs and striking out five in a 3-2 win over the Cubs. Paul Goldschmidt (.270, 31 Rs, 11 HRs, 37 RBIs, 7 SBs) went 1 for 5 Wednesday. Nicolino went 5.1 innings, surrendering two runs, striking out two and walking one in a 6-4 defeat to the Mets in his most recent start. Marcell Ozuna (.324, 37 Rs, 11 HRs, 34 RBIs) has been successful at the plate for the Marlins, going 4 for 5 yesterday with one run and three RBIs.
