Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has called for unity and calm within the club after another setback in their pursuit of the Premier League title. Speaking in the aftermath of the latest disappointing result, Arteta stressed that the team’s recent collapse in form is not, in his view, down to a lack of commitment from his players.

Arteta acknowledged the frustration surrounding the club’s stutter in the title race but maintained that the group remains fully engaged and determined. He underlined that difficult spells are part of a long campaign and said the response from both players and staff must be collective, measured and focused on improvement rather than blame.

Without singling out individuals or specific incidents, Arteta framed the poor run as a football issue rather than a psychological or effort-based one. He suggested that fine margins, tactical details and execution in key moments have hurt Arsenal, rather than any shortfall in attitude or desire. According to the manager, the squad’s work on the training ground and their internal standards demonstrate that the commitment level remains high.

The Arsenal boss also highlighted the importance of perspective when judging a season that still has crucial fixtures to come. He urged supporters and those inside the club to remember how demanding the Premier League schedule is and how quickly momentum can swing over the course of a campaign. For Arteta, the priority now is correcting mistakes, sharpening the team’s performances and staying in contention, rather than allowing recent results to define the entire season.

Arteta reiterated that the dressing room is united behind the objectives set at the start of the year. He described the current stretch as a test of resilience and character, pointing out that teams competing for major honours inevitably face periods of adversity. The emphasis from the coaching staff, he said, is on maintaining belief in the team’s playing identity and ensuring that confidence does not erode under pressure.

While accepting that scrutiny will intensify as the title race develops, Arteta insisted that external noise cannot dictate Arsenal’s internal reaction. He wants his players to channel their disappointment into constructive energy, focusing on execution in both boxes, game management and consistency over the remaining fixtures. The manager framed the situation as an opportunity for the squad to demonstrate growth, learn from setbacks and show they can sustain a challenge over the full length of the season.

With plenty still to play for, Arteta’s message was one of resolve. He called on everyone connected with Arsenal to stay aligned behind the team as they attempt to recover form, address their recent shortcomings and keep themselves in the hunt at the top end of the Premier League table.
