Milwaukee Brewers vs. Pittsburgh Pirates Betting Preview 07/13/18

The Milwaukee Brewers will take on their division rival Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park. Fox Sports Net Wisconsin will broadcast the matchup and the game is scheduled to get going at 7:05 p.m. ET.

Milwaukee Brewers at Pittsburgh Pirates Odds

Milwaukee (-110) is favored over Pittsburgh (+100) and oddsmakers have set the Over/Under for this night game at 8.5 runs (+100 for the over and -120 for the under). Bettors can also wager on the game’s runline with the most recent odds sitting at +135 for the Brewers -1.5 runs and -155 for the Pirates +1.5 runs.

Outfielders Corey Dickerson and Starling Marte have led the way for the Pirates’ hitters this year. Dickerson is hitting .305/.341/.457 with six home runs, 35 RBIs and 37 runs scored, and Marte’s line is .284/.335/.467 with 11 homers, 41 RBIs, 48 runs and 23 stolen bases.

The Brewers have gained 15.6 units and are 42-32 ATS when facing a right-handed starting pitcher this season. The over has hit in 29 of those games, compared to 42 that’ve hit the under against righty starters. On the other hand, the Pirates have lost 1.8 units and are 32-36 ATS when facing a right-handed starting pitcher. The over’s hit in 28 of those games, as opposed to 33 which went under the total.
