The second week of NFL minicamps begins Monday as 17 teams hold mandatory workouts following the Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers, who staged theirs last week. The sessions, scheduled June 8-11, offer a final look at who reports after skipping voluntary work, how rookies stack up against veterans and how schemes are taking shape under new coordinators and head coaches, according to ESPN.

The clubs conducting mandatory OTAs this week are the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks, ESPN reported.

The San Francisco 49ers canceled their minicamp as a reward for attendance during OTAs, per ESPN. Twelve teams remain in the OTA calendar next week (June 15-18) and will have the last practice window before training camps begin in late July: the New York Jets, Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee Titans, Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders, Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams, ESPN noted.

ESPN reporters flagged specific items to monitor during this week’s sessions. Alaina Getzenberg wrote that the Bills’ biggest offseason change is the defense under new coordinator Jim Leonhard, who is installing a new scheme; participation by players such as defensive tackle Ed Oliver, who has been limited in OTAs with injuries, will be worth watching. Mike Reiss highlighted the Patriots’ cornerback Christian Gonzalez, who has skipped voluntary practices while eligible for a contract extension; coach Mike Vrabel said he expects Gonzalez to attend next week.

Jamison Hensley pointed to the Ravens’ need to replace center Tyler Linderbaum, noting the club rotated Danny Pinter and Jovaughn Gwyn in spring work and may add a center before training camp. Hensley also identified the Browns’ quarterback competition, where Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders have split first‑team reps; coach Todd Monken wants clarity on the depth chart before camp and will use the remaining practices to inform those decisions, according to ESPN.
