MLB Lines:  The Toronto Blue Jays and Milwaukee Brewers have been two of the surprise teams in Major League Baseball as they have gone from afterthoughts on the preseason futures board to teams that merit plenty of attention and consideration with bettors.  Both the Jays and Brewers have been surprise contenders for 2014 not to mention two of the most profitable teams on the betting board.  The Toronto Blue Jays will host the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday afternoon with a starting time of 1:07 PM ET.

Blue Jays in the Black

The Toronto Blue Jays were 21-17 at home and were +661 units overall with a mark of +1149 on the run line.  Toronto went under the total in just 17 out of 38 home games as they ranked 4th for run production but a worrisome 22nd for staff earned run average.  The Blue Jays were trying to stay ahead of Baltimore in the AL East.

True Brew

Milwaukee was a very impressive 27-15 on the road and +1411 for units overall and +704 on the run line with just 14 out of their 42 away games going under the total.  Milwaukee ranked 6th for run production, 8th for batting average, 7th for OPS, and 5th for home runs.  The Crew ranked 11th for earned run average and 2nd for quality starts.  Milwaukee was the surprise leader in the National League Central with St. Louis and resurgent Cincinnati within striking distance.

The Pick

The Brewers have dominated this head to head series with 7 payouts in their last 9 games against the Blue Jays with just 2 of those games going under the total.  We’ll take Milwaukee and over the total!
