MLB odds:   For the past three seasons the Oakland Athletics have been the best bet on the board as one of the top money makers in MLB betting both with the money line and run line as the best in the AL West.  The Baltimore Orioles have been in the red at home this season and also unable to generate profits on the run line.  The Baltimore Orioles will host the Oakland A’s with game time from Oriole Park at Camden Yards set for 7:15 PM ET and coverage on FOX.  The probable starting pitchers are right hander Sonny Gray for Oakland and left hander Wei Yin Chen for the O’s.

Pitching Woes for O’s

The Baltimore Orioles were just 11-12 at home and went over the total in just 8 out of 23 home games.  Baltimore ranked 25th for earned run average and 30th for quality starts while getting solid run production as they ranked 9th for runs scored and for home runs while ranking 3rd for batting average.  Baltimore’s bullpen ranked 17th for ERA.

Oakland earns A’s on Road

The Oakland A’s were one of the top money makers on the board in road games with a mark of 19-10 and were 32-26 on the run line.  The A’s ranked best in baseball for both run production and earned run average as they led the LA Angels in the AL West.  Oakland flexed their muscles to rank 3rd for home runs.  The A’s bullpen ranked 5th in MLB for ERA.

The Pick

The A’s continue to be a great betting value with perhaps their best team in years and are looking like one of the most complete and balanced contenders in the game.  Oakland!
