Dave Strasser Calls Out Duke Roufus On Talk ‘n’ Shoot MMA Podcast

Check out the first edition of our new Talk ‘n’ Shoot MMA Podcast.  Miguel Iturrate hosts a half hour of talk on subjects ranging from the UFC 183 event that just went down, the positive drug test results of Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz and the official responses to where Brock Lesnar is going to wind up after his contract with the WWE expires.

Iturrate is joined by Mike Davis, the man behind one of Chicago’s longest running MMA Promotions and by UFC and MMA veteran Dave Strasser.  Davis brings his knowledge and insight to the conversation, but it was Strasser who came out dropping bombs.

Dave first revealed that he has not even watched an MMA fight or a UFC in four years, preferring to work in running his school and team. Regardless, Strasser remains extremely insightful on the subject of steroids and PED’s and the fight game in general.  The subject switched to incoming pro wrestlers Brock Lesnar and CM Punk, and it was when Punk’s preparation for the UFC under the school of Duke Roufus is when things really got interesting.

With the likes of UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, ONE FC welterweight titlist Ben Askren and Tyrone Woodley training with Punk at the Roufus academy the ex pro-wrestler has access to very high level training partners.  But it was when the subject turned to Roufus himself that Strasser let loose a strong diatribe of criticism against Roufus.  The long and short of it could become a call for Dave Strasser vs CM Punk.  Dana, make it happen.
