More Last Minute MMA Odds For The Weekend

It has been a while since the MMA and boxing calendar had a weekend go down with as much action as this coming weekend, starting tonight.  In the world of MMA, the World Series of Fighting 20, Bellator 136 and Resurrection Fighting Alliance 25 all have lines up for fights scheduled for Friday. Saturday sees the UFC Fight Night 64 event come to us from Poland with a headline fight between Mirko “CroCop” Filipovic and Gabriel Gonzaga.

In Boxing, cruiserweight action begins tonight as Dennis Lebedev puts his WBA world title on the line as he faces Youri Kayembre Kalenga (21-1).  The interim IBF Cruiserweight World title is up for grabs in Buenos Aires as Victor Emilio Ramirez takes on Ola Afolabi.

In the United States, ESPN2 is airing the super welterweight semifinals of their “Boxcino” tournament series where Stanyslav Skorokhod and Brandon Adams are favorites to win their bouts and advance to meet in the finals scheduled for May 22.

Come Saturday night, the big news will be Danny garcia versus Lamont Peterson at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn.  The second bout in Brooklyn sees hometown hero Peter Quillin face Andy lee for the WBO’s World Middleweight title.  D0wn in Puerto Rico, the Orlando Salido versus Roman Martinez fight has all the makings of a war.
