NBA Fantasy: Daily Fantasy Advice For Wednesday

The NBA returns with an absolutely loaded slate for Wednesday with 12 games on the schedule. That could make it very difficult to find the perfect combination of star power and strong value options in DraftKings NBA Fantasy Leagues so we took the time to look at some intriguing options that could really help you out. Here is some important fantasy advice to consider for Wednesday’s NBA fantasy action.

Weak Defense To Target: Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers rank 28th in the NBA in points allowed per game this season with an average of 107.5 against per game and there isn’t any reason to expect them to suddenly become a stingy defensive team when they travel across the country to play the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night. Philadelphia has won only three of its 35 road games this season and should be worth targeting versus the Nuggets. DJ Augustin has really stepped up for Denver of late and is available at a very reasonable price in DraftKings Daily Fantasy Leagues. Augustin has averaged 15.3 points, 5.8 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 2.0 three-point shots and 1.3 steals per game over the last seven days and should be a strong NBA fantasy value option against the 76ers’ defense.

Player Who’s Hot Right Now: Victor Oladipo, Orlando Magic

Oladipo has emerged as an absolute fantasy stud from the Magic this season and he has really heated up of late in particularly. Oladipo has averaged 27.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.0 three-point shots, 2.0 steals and 2.0 blocks per game over the past week of action and he should be able to match those averages against the Detroit Pistons. Oladipo is an expensive option but he isn’t priced as high as some of the top stars on the board like Stephen Curry so consider taking a shot on him now while he remains hot.

Injuries, Rest Create Opportunities For… Shelvin Mack, Michael Beasley

A change of scenery has worked wonders for Shelvin Mack’s numbers and until his price tag is raised significantly he will remain one of the strongest value plays on the board every single time the Utah Jazz play. Mack has averaged 14.3 points, 10.0 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 three-point shots per game over the past seven days so ride the hot hand when the Jazz visit the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, basketball fans won’t have to look far for another excellent option as Michael Beasley has been very good for Houston of late and is available at a very reasonable price on DraftKings. Beasley has averaged 21.0 points and 7.7 rebounds for the Rockets over the last week and should reward those that select him as a strong value option for Wednesday night. He’s had an incredibly strong floor considering the minutes. He’s scored in double-figures in every game with the Rockets but he’s only playing 17.9 minutes per contest in March (although he’s topped that average in four of his last five outings). He’s also giving you 5.4 rebounds this month with 0.5 blocks, 0.5 assists and 0.5 steals. He also hits a three from time to time. He’s great value in NBA fantasy these days.

Highest Scoring Game Of The Night: LAC @ GSW

The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers rank 1st and 6th in the NBA in points per game this season so there is every reason to expect them to combine for a high scoring matchup on Wednesday night. The problem is that Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are two of the most expensive options on the board and there is a good chance that you can’t afford them in order to benefit from the matchup. The Warriors don’t have many reliable value options but that should be expected for a team that is on pace to challenge for the best record in NBA history. The best bet is to turn to the Clippers with DeAndre Jordan a player worth considering at the center position. Jordan has averaged 16.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 assist per game over the last week and could help LA break down the Warriors’ interior in what should be the highest scoring game of the night.
