NBA News: Kawhi Leonard Coming Back to Toronto on Dec. 11

The Los Angeles Clippers are traveling to Canada to face the Toronto Raptors on December 11, which is going to be Kawhi Leonard’s first game against his old team after his summer move to LA. New Boston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker returns to Charlotte on November 7, while Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley is back in Memphis on November 15.

On November 27, Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis and new Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving will return to New Orleans and Boston, respectively. Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George returns to Oklahoma City on December 22 while his former teammate Russell Westbrook will go to OKC with his new team, the Houston Rockets, on January 9, after the Rockets take on the Thunder in Houston on October 28.

The 2019-20 NBA campaign starts on October 22 with a doubleheader featuring the New Orleans Pelicans at the Toronto Raptors while the Los Angeles Lakers are visiting the Los Angeles Clippers in the first game between two strongest favorites to win the championship.

The Los Angeles Lakers lead the way in national TV appearances (ESPN, TNT, and ABC) with 31. The Golden State Warriors are right behind with 30; the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers will appear 26 times, the Boston Celtics 25 times, while the Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers make 24 appearances apiece. The New Pelicans and Zion Williamson will make 20 national TV appearances.

The Christmas Day games will feature the Raptors welcoming the Celtics at noon, the Bucks visiting the 76ers at 2:30 p.m., the Rockets facing the Warriors at 5 p.m., the Clippers at the Lakers at 8 p.m., and the Pelicans at the Nuggets at 10:30 p.m.

The All-Star break will begin on February 14 with the 2020 All-Star Game scheduled for February 16 in Chicago. From February 14-19, the NBA will be on the break, and no games will be played in that period as each team will have at least seven days off. The regular season ends on April 15 with 26 of the 30 teams in action that night.
