NBA Picks: Chicago Bulls Visit Sacramento Kings on Thursday

NBA Picks: The Sacramento Kings host the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night in a game that can be seen on TNT. The Kings are off to a nice start this season as they actually come into this game with a winning record. The Bulls are in the early stages of a long road trip as this is the second game of the trip and the first half of a back-to-back as they are at Portland on Friday. Let’s look at this game and NBA picks.

Circus Road Trip for the Chicago Bulls

Every season the United Center hosts the circus for about two weeks so the Bulls and Blackhawks have to go on the road. This game for the Bulls on Thursday is the second game of the seven-game trip. The Bulls won’t play at home again until early December. Chicago did cover three of their five road games before this trip began.

The Bulls won seven of their first 10 games this season but many of the games were close so the team was just 4-6 ATS. The Bulls are averaging about 102 points per game while allowing 98 per contest. Derrick Rose is back this season but he has been in and out of the lineup. Pau Gasol is the leading scorer for the team at just about 18 points per contest.

Surprising Start for the Sacramento Kings

Not many people thought the Kings would have a winning record after playing ten games but the Kings were 6-4. They were even better against the spread at a nice 7-3. The team plays a lot of high scoring games as they average 103 points per game while allowing 102 per contest. The Kings were tough to bet on their totals though as they had five unders and five overs in their first ten games.

Series Notes

The Bulls have won seven of the last 10 in this series but they are just 4-6 ATS.

The Bulls won 94-87 at home last season but the Kings won 99-70 in Sacramento. Three of the last four in the series have gone under the total. The Kings have taken six of the last ten at home in this series with the last Chicago win in Sacramento coming in 2011. Six of the last ten meetings in Sacramento have gone under.

NBA Picks

This one should be fun to watch and very competitive as both teams are off to good starts this season. We’ll look for this game on Thursday night to go over the NBA betting total.
