NBA Picks: The Miami Heat host the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night and it could be that the road team ends up as the favorite. The Warriors are leading the Pacific Division and boast one of the top offenses in the league as they average about 108 points per game. The Miami Heat started strong this season but they have stumbled of late, especially offensively as they are scoring just 98 points per game.

Let’s look at the game and NBA predictions.

Strong Start for the Warriors

Golden State won eight of their first 10 games and they could easily come into this game at 10-2 as they had games against Utah and OKC before this contest against the Heat. The team has been good at home and on the road as they covered four of their first five road games.

Normally the Warriors struggle on the road but that has not been the case this season. The team is scoring a ton of points as they average about 108 points per game but their defense has also been solid as they allow 98 points per game.

Heat Struggling to Score

The Miami Heat need everyone to be healthy and to play well if they are going to score a lot of points. That has not been the case for much of this season as Dwyane Wade is dealing with yet another injury and the team has no depth.

The team is averaging just about 98 points per game and allowing about 98 per contest. When Wade and Chris Bosh play well this team is tough to beat but if either player is having an off night then the Heat are going to lose. It was thought that Luol Deng would come in and provide scoring but so far this season that has not been the case.

Game Notes

The Heat have done well straight up in this series as they have won seven of the last 10 but they are just 4-6 ATS in those games. The teams split their two meetings last season with the Heat winning 111-110 in Oakland while the Warriors won 123-114 in Miami.

The Heat have won six of the last ten at home in this series but they are just 2-8 against the NBA betting spread. Three of the last four meetings in Miami have gone over the total.

NBA Predictions

As long as Wade is in the lineup this should be a game where both teams score a lot of points so we’ll go over the total.
