NCAAF Throwdown Podcast – Episode 4

Throwdown Podcast

The College Football Throwdown Podcast comes to you live on September 5!

On this week’s edition of the show, Ej the Rainmaker and Erik the Hun rewind the week that was. Firstly, the guys discuss the last nine days of football that has been played. In all, we have had football over each of the two last weekends, with some surprising results a plenty.

There are two new segments coming to the Throwdown Podcast this year, and you will love them! Our first discussion revolves around the teams that have come out flat out of the gate. Some may call it the other way around, but either way, the line setters left some gems on the board.

As usual, there are a boatload of upsets that shake up the pollsters each and every weekend. We captured one of the greatest upsets in the history of the sport this past weekend, with a +45 dog winning outright. UNLV hosted Howard in Las Vegas, Nevada, and were listed as 45 point favorites over an FCS Howard club. Howard kept the lead throughout the game, and held on to win 43 – 40.

That was not the only one, so tune in to check out our list of under achieving programs.

Then, it is time for the calling out of someone! Who blew the lead? Who dropped the ball? Why did he make that call?
Who’s the Dummy! Someone out there in the Nation, made himself look pretty bad on National TV, and we’re here to rub it in! Who won our inaugural ‘Dummy of the Week’ award? Tune in to find out for yourself.

Ej and Erik review their predictions thus far on the young season, and then move to Friday’s games. Two contests kick off at 8 p.m ET on September 8, and we offer plays for both games.

Tune in Thursday again for the 5th edition of the Throwdown Podcast. We will be dishing out all of our action for this upcoming weekend, and you can’t live without that! Well, you could, but why would you do that to yourself?
