New Mexico Lobos vs. Air Force Falcons Free Prediction

The Lobos will be looking for similar success after edging the CSUN Matadors in their last game, 87-84. One of New Mexico’s biggest strengths was getting to the free throw line. They had 29 free throw attempts, eight more than CSUN. New Mexico was lifted by Dane Kuiper, who contributed 15 points.

In the Falcons’ last game, they won big over the Johnson & Wales (CO) Wildcats, 90-65. The Falcons had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (43.3 vs. 17.9) and had a much better effective field goal percentage (0.648 vs. 0.466). With 10 points and eight rebounds, Ryan Swan put together a good game for Air Force.

After splitting two games last season, these teams will battle for the first time this year. The Falcons won the last matchup 100-92. The Falcons had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (33.3 vs. 20.0) and had a better turnover percentage (17.2 vs. 19.9).

The sweet-shooting offense of Air Force (52nd in the nation with an effective field goal percentage 0.550) will clash against the bottom-tier defense of New Mexico (298th in effective field goal percentage allowed 0.520). The Falcons should have the advantage on that side of the ball.
