New Mexico Lobos at UNLV Runnin’ Rebels ATS Preview 01/22/19

It will be a battle between MWC opponents when the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels (10-7, 4-1 MWC) welcome the New Mexico Lobos (9-9, 3-3 MWC) to the Thomas & Mack Center. The game will air on CBS Sports Network at 10 p.m. ET on Tuesday, January 22, 2019.

In the Lobos’ last game, they dismantled the Wyoming Cowboys, 83-53. The Lobos held the Cowboys to an offensive rebounding percentage of 10.5 (below their season average of 18.1). The Cowboys had a free throw rate of 0.167 (below their season average of 0.321). Vance Jackson fueled New Mexico with 13 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

The Runnin’ Rebels had no trouble getting past the San Jose State Spartans in their last game, 94-56. Expect UNLV to dominate the offensive glass in this contest. The Runnin’ Rebels currently rank second in offensive rebounding percentage (40.8 percent), while New Mexico ranks 272nd in defensive rebounding percentage (69.5 percent).
