NFL Fantasy: Best DFS Values Week 11

Case Keenum

Week 11 of the NFL season is full of big games with playoff implications. Some of the biggest games of the week offer the best values in DFS, including a red-hot quarterback whose value will likely jump next week if he can have another big performance. Every player on this list offers value, helping you keep some cap space to spend on superstars. For Week 11 of the NFL, here is the best value at quarterback, running back, wide receiver and tight end.

QB – Case Keenum $5100

Minnesota Vikings

As great as the Los Angeles Rams have played this season, their defense is vulnerable in the passing game. The Rams have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks in DraftKings scoring this season. Keenum is coming off his best game in his career, which could have been even better if not for two errant throws that resulted in interceptions. At $5100, Keenum is a bargain. He is continuing to develop chemistry with Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs, plus he has Kyle Rudolph and Jerrick McKinnon to dump quick passes off to, if the Rams bring pressure.

The Vikings did think about benching Keenum for Teddy Bridgewater in this game but decided to stick with Keenum. While that adds some pressure to him, Keenum has dealt with that all season. The assumption has always been that he’ll get benched for Sam Bradford but he held him off with good play. He’s coming off the best game of his career and should keep it going.

This game could be a shootout, opening the door for Keenum to air the ball out even more than average. Get Keenum into your lineup before his price skyrockets after another big performance in Week 11.

RB – Ameer Abdullah $4200

Detroit Lions

Ameer Abdullah is finally looking like the running back the Lions wanted when they drafted him in 2015. Abdullah is coming off double-digit fantasy performances for the first time in his career. The Lions play the Chicago Bears in Week 11. The Bears are not great at stopping running backs this season, allowing backfields to score a touchdown or top 100 yards rushing in all but one game this season. The Bears also allow running backs to average 5.67 receptions per game, meaning Abdullah could add some extra points through the air on Sunday.

The Lions are on the road in this spot and they’ll have to run the ball to succeed. At $4200, Abdullah is the best bargain back in Week 11.

WR – Mike Wallace $3800

Baltimore Ravens

For anyone looking for a cheap option with big-play potentially should consider Mike Wallace for their lineup on Sunday. Wallace faces the Packers in Week 11. The Packers have one of the weakest secondaries in the NFL and have allowed 11 players this season (who caught two passes or more) to average over 15 yards per reception. Wallace averages 15.0 yards per catch in his career. Also, last season after the Ravens bye week, Wallace had his best game of the season, catching four passes for 124 yards and a touchdown. If Wallace can get behind the Packers secondary, he could break loose for a long touchdown.

At just $3800, putting Wallace into your DFS lineup opens up cap space for some bigger names with excellent matchups such as Michael Crabtree against the Patriots or even Julio Jones against a Seahawks secondary without Richard Sherman.

TE – Jared Cook $4800

Oakland Raiders

If you do not want to spend money on Travis Kelce (the most expensive tight end, but the best start in Week 11), Jared Cook is a good option (and $2500 less than Kelce). Derek Carr and Cook have developed a report over the last few weeks. His success could continue against the New England Patriots, who have allowed five touchdowns to tight ends this season. The Patriots have been better the last three weeks against tight ends. However, they may need to focus extra resources on stopping/slowing Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree. This game will be played in Mexico City, where the Raiders won 27-20 last season, on the heels of an impressive passing game.
