The 2020 Super Bowl (LIV) halftime show performers have been announced. Furthermore the whole shebang is sponsored by Pepsi, and will take place in Miami.

Jennifer Lopez and Shakira are those two female performers. This news was announced via several major news outlets on Thursday afternoon.

As mentioned, Pepsi will sponsor the event. Their spokesperson had a statement on the two performers.

“These two remarkable artists are setting a new precedent for what this show can become, and we’re confident that this will be an incredible performance for the ages,” Todd Kaplan, Pepsi’s vice president of marketing, said in a statement.

To put my little spin on it, my two most memorable halftime performers were Michael Jackson and Tom Petty; for much different reasons. Obviously, it’s a huge honor to be named to perform at this event – it means you’re really on top of the entertainment industry.

What do you think of the Super Bowl halftime performers? Who else would you have considered? Let us know in the comments section below and get ready for the big act in February.
