Kings vs. Rangers game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final

NHL odds:  The 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs will go down as the “Year of the Comeback” and no team has better epitomized that comeback trend in the post season than the Los Angeles Kings, who rallied from a 0-3 deficit in games to rally with a furious 4 win comeback against the San Jose Sharks tom then move on and beat both the Anaheim Ducks and Chicago Blackhawks after falling behind 3-2 in game.  Game 7 at Chicago was yet another masterpiece as the Kings had to rally after falling behind 2-0.

Then of course in the Stanley Cup Final the Kings had to rally from 2 goal deficits in the first two games for a pair of overtime wins.  The New York Rangers will host the Los Angeles Kings in game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final at Madison Square Garden with coverage on NBCSN starting at 8 PM ET.

Kings of Resilience

Ever since losing to the Chicago Blackhawks in the Western Conference Final last year the Kings have stated that the Blackhawks went on to win what they call “our Cup” and have been determined to bring Lord Stanley back to California.  The Kings steadfast refusal to die against the three best teams in the West is a testament to their resiliency and character.

Deeper and Tougher

The Kings boast the NHL’s best two way forward in Anze Kopitar, the best defenseman in Drew Doughty, and the best money goaltender in Jonathan Quick, who while not sporting dominant stats, has been flawless with a gun to his head.

The Pick

After everything they have gone through to get here, it would be foolish to oppose the Comeback Kings.  Los Angeles is the pick!
