NHL Predictions – Top Western Conference Teams Featured on Thursday as Anaheim Visits the Blues

NHL Betting: Two of the top teams in the Western Conference meet on Thursday night as the Anaheim Ducks visit the St. Louis Blues. The Ducks began the season as one of the hottest teams in the league, winning 7 of their first 8 games. The Ducks were averaging about 3.5 goals per game and allowing less than 2 goals per game. They will get a good test against a St. Louis team that is ranked in the Top 10 in fewest goals allowed. Let’s look at the contest and the rest of Thursday’s NHL predictions.

Anaheim Ducks at St. Louis Blues

The Ducks have won 7 of the last 10 in this series with the last three going under the total. The teams met four times a year ago and it was the Ducks winning all four games. They won 3-0 and 1-0 at home and 4-2 and 5-2 on the road. Even with those two road wins, the Ducks are just 4-6 in their last ten in St. Louis. Three of the last five meetings in St. Louis have gone under the total. This one could be low scoring as well as the Ducks have been playing stifling defense and getting great goaltending from Frederik Andersen while the Blues are usually one of the top defensive teams in the NHL.

NHL Predictions

We’ll look for the Ducks and Blues to go under the total on Thursday night.
