Ole Miss Rebels vs. Alabama Crimson Tide Betting Prediction

In the Rebels’ last contest, they beat the Arkansas Razorbacks, 84-67. The Rebels, who came into the game averaging an offensive rebounding percentage of 33.1, had a ridiculous mark of 38.2, while the Razorbacks had a turnover percentage of 20.9 (above their season average of 15.7). Ole Miss rallied around Terence Davis, who contributed 18 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

The Crimson Tide lost a close one to the No. 3 Tennessee Volunteers in their last game, 71-68. Tennessee’s 11.2 turnover percentage was their largest strength over Alabama, who had a mark of 16.3. The Volunteers’ mark was better than their season average of 14.4. Alabama’s Donta Hall finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds in the contest.

After the Rebels won the only game against the Crimson Tide last season, 78-66, this will be the first matchup of the year between these two teams. The Rebels knocked down 18 of their 24 free throws (75.0 percent) and had a much better effective field goal percentage (0.577 vs. 0.452).

Alabama should have an edge on the offensive glass in this battle. The Crimson Tide currently rank 48th in offensive rebounding percentage (33.4 percent), while Ole Miss ranks 161st in defensive rebounding percentage (72.2 percent).
