In the Beavers’ last contest, they defeated the Oregon Ducks, 76-64. The Beavers had a much better free throw rate (0.264 vs. 0.087) and had an effective field goal percentage of 0.585 (above their season average of 0.529). With 19 points on 7-for-15 shooting, Tres Tinkle was the game’s high scorer.

The Wildcats lost a close one to the Colorado Buffaloes in their last outing, 80-77. Making free throws was one of Colorado’s biggest advantages. The high-powered offense of Arizona will square off against the mid-tier defense of Oregon State. The Wildcats rank 14th in offensive efficiency, while the Beavers are 138th in defensive efficiency. The Wildcats should have the advantage on that end of the court.

Oregon State is 10-5 straight up (SU), but they are just 5-10 against the spread (ATS). Of the Beavers’ 14 games that accepted bets, eight have finished under the total.

Arizona is 12-4 SU, but they have a difficult time covering the spread (6-9-1 ATS). Contrary to Oregon State, Wildcats games have typically gone over the total (56.3 percent).

After the Wildcats won the lone contest against the Beavers last season, 71-54, these teams will meet for the first time this year. The Wildcats knocked down 20 of their 26 free throws (76.9 percent) and had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (41.9 vs. 23.5).
