Paolo Banchero Returns to Orlando Magic Practice

This next Christmas, the Orlando Magic could have a little bit more to be grateful for. The Magic received some encouraging news about injuries at Wednesday’s practice with rookie Paolo Banchero. Depending on how he responds to the practice and therapy, it will be determined if he will play against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.

“I’m doing OK,” Banchero declared. “It was beneficial to just return. It has been some while. Simply said, I’m glad to be here.” After spraining his left ankle against the Houston Rockets late in the fourth quarter on November 7, Banchero has been out for the past seven games. The No. 1 selection in the 2022 NBA Draft had a fantastic start to the season before being hurt. When it comes to points, rebounds, and assists per game, Banchero presently tops all first-year players.
