Penn Quakers at New Mexico Lobos Betting Prediction

In the Quakers’ last contest, they beat the George Mason Patriots, 72-71. Penn had a much better effective field goal percentage (0.611 vs. 0.483). George Mason, on the other hand, did a terrific job of making free throws (13-16; 81.3 percent). Penn was lifted by AJ Brodeur, who was the top scorer from either team with 19 points on 8-for-11 shooting.

The Lobos barely escaped the CSUN Matadors in their last game, 87-84. Getting to the free throw line was one of New Mexico’s biggest advantages. They made 29 trips to the line, while CSUN went 21 times. With 15 points, Dane Kuiper played well for New Mexico.

It will be a showdown of opposite styles as the fast-paced Lobos will look to push the more methodical Quakers. The Lobos rank 52nd in possessions per game while the Quakers are 155th. Also, the Quakers’ 10th-ranked offense (effective field goal percentage of 0.583) will face off against the Lobos’ 297th-ranked defense (effective field goal percentage allowed of 0.536).
