Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia 76ers (11-7) will try to lengthen their eight-game home winning streak when they clash against the Phoenix Suns (3-12), who look to end their six-game road losing streak. The game will air on NBATV at 7 p.m. ET on Monday, November 19, 2018.

The game’s Over/Under (O/U) has been set at 222 points with Philadelphia opening as a 12.5-point favorite.

Phoenix Suns vs. Philadelphia 76ers Betting Prediction

The Suns are hoping for a better outcome after not being able to cover as 4.5-point underdogs in their 110-100 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in their last game. The total points for the game (210) finished under the projected point total of 216.5. Oklahoma City won the rebounding battle. The Thunder had more offensive rebounds (14 vs. four), defensive rebounds (38 vs. 27) and total rebounds (52 vs. 31). Devin Booker played well for Phoenix, putting up 16 points and 12 assists.

In the 76ers’ last game, they won a close one over the Charlotte Hornets, 122-119, despite being 3-point underdogs. The combined points for the game (241) came in well over the O/U total of 225. The 76ers made 33 of their 38 free throws (86.8 percent) and held the Hornets to an offensive rebounding percentage of 17.0 (below their season average of 22.8). Joel Embiid was Philadelphia’s high scorer with 33 points on 9-for-23 shooting from the field.

After splitting two games last season, these teams will battle for the first time this year. In the most recent matchup, the 76ers won 123-110. The 76ers had a much better effective field goal percentage (0.623 vs. 0.477) and had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (32.4 vs. 26.7).

Phoenix holds records of 3-12 straight up (SU) and 6-9 against the spread (ATS). Vegas has a tendency to set the total high when the Suns are playing, as nine of their 15 games have finished under the total.

Philadelphia is 11-7 SU, but they have difficulty covering the spread (8-10 ATS). Unlike Phoenix, games including the 76ers tend to finish over the projected point total (61.1 percent).

T.J. Warren has averaged 20 points,1.6 steals over the last five games for Phoenix.

It will be a matchup of conflicting paces as the up-tempo 76ers will look to push the more grind-it-out Suns. The 76ers currently rank fifth in possessions per game while the Suns are 21st. Furthermore, the Suns rank 28th in offensive rebounding percentage (18.6 percent), while the 76ers rank third in defensive rebounding percentage (79.5 percent).
