Phoenix Suns vs. Golden State Warriors Betting Prediction

The Suns are hoping for a better outcome after not being able to cover as 10.5-point underdogs in their 119-91 loss to the Denver Nuggets in their last matchup. The game’s total points (210) finished under the projected point total of 224.5. Denver’s 23.1 offensive rebounding percentage was their biggest strength over Phoenix, who had a mark of 18.2. Devin Booker led Phoenix in scoring with 25 points on 5-for-15 shooting.

In the Warriors’ last matchup, they lost a tough one against the Denver Nuggets, 100-98, despite being 2.5-point favorites. The game’s total points (198) came in well under the projected point total of 218.5. Denver’s 7.1 turnover percentage was their biggest advantage over Golden State, who had a rate of 16.7. With 20 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists, Kevin Durant had a good game for Golden State.

Golden State could dominate on the offensive side of the ball as their prolific offense squares off against one of the worst defenses in the league. The Warriors rank first in offensive efficiency, while Phoenix ranks 30th in defensive efficiency since last season.

The Suns are 22-62 straight up (SU) and 41-41-2 against the spread (ATS) since last season. Since last season, Phoenix games have gone over the O/U total 58.3 percent of the time.

The Warriors, on the other hand, have records of 60-25 SU and 51-47-3 ATS since last season. Golden State’s games have had a slight tendency to finish under the O/U total over that same stretch (53.5 percent).

The Warriors won all four contests against the Suns last season. In the last game, Golden State won 117-100. Golden State was lights out from beyond the arc (13-32; 40.6 percent). Phoenix, meanwhile, had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (18.2 vs. 12.2).
