TEAMtalk reported Chelsea remain long-term admirers of the right back and have not ruled themselves out despite signing Marco Palestra from Atalanta for £47 million. Manchester United, meanwhile, are said to be focusing on signing a left back rather than pursuing Koundé.
Free agent Mohamed Salah is most likely to join the Saudi Pro League following his departure from Liverpool, The Mirror reported. The 34-year-old winger has multiple options and is delaying any decision until Egypt’s World Cup campaign concludes. Italian clubs Internazionale, Roma and Juventus, Turkish sides such as Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, and Major League Soccer teams have all been linked to Salah, while The Mirror says a Chelsea return is considered unlikely.
