Purdue Boilermakers vs. Maryland Terrapins Betting Prediction

The Boilermakers will be looking for a similar result after defeating the No. 17 Louisville Cardinals in their last contest, 66-57. The last time the Terrapins played, they lost a tough one against the Syracuse Orange, 72-70. Syracuse’s 15.3 turnover percentage was their biggest advantage over Maryland, who had a mark of 23.1. The Orange’s mark was worse than their season average of 13.8, while the Terrapins’ was above the 16.9 mark opponents have averaged against Syracuse this season. Maryland’s Kevin Huerter had a good game, leading both teams in scoring with 23 points on 8-for-11 shooting.

Purdue comes into the contest with records of 6-2 straight up (SU) and 5-2 against the spread (ATS). Vegas tends to place the total low when the Boilermakers are involved, as four of their 7 games have ended over the total.

Meanwhile, Maryland owns records of 6-2 SU and 3-2-1 ATS. Contrary to Purdue, games including the Terrapins have a tendency to go under the total (75.0 percent).
