Tonight, Monday Night Raw puts No Mercy in the history books and looks ahead towards No Mercy. Highlights for tonight’s show include The Miz vs. Roman Reigns, the return of Mickie James, and Enzo Amore’s Certified G Championship Celebration.

MizTV feat. Roman Reigns
After successfully defending the Intercontinental Championship against Jason Jordan last night, The Miz was informed that he would open the show with the guest of his choice, Roman Reigns. Reigns, of course, made history for the second time this year by defeating the franchise of WWE, John Cena.

Reigns starts making fun of Miz and the Miztourage and the Intercontinental Champion demands respect. Reigns wants to fight and when Miz starts walking away, Kurt Angle makes the match official for later tonight but right now, The Miztourage face Matt Hardy and Jason Jordan.

The Miztourage vs. Matt Hardy & Jason Jordan (w/Jeff Hardy)
It was revealed earlier today that Jeff Hardy needs shoulder surgery after competing in the #1 Contender’s Six Pack Challenge last week and he will be out for “a while.” Jason Jordan, who lost to the Miz last night, teams up with Matt Hardy to build some momentum for himself. While this is an unusual team, they did team up before in a six-man tag team match against Miz and the Miztourage on the SummerSlam Kickoff Show.

After Jason Jordan clears house, Matt Hardy finishes Bo Dallas off with the Twist of Fate, hinting at potential success for this unlikely duo. Winners: Matt Hardy & Jason Jordan

Elias Samson vs. Apollo Crews (w/Titus O’Neil)
Last night, Elias Samson defeated Apollo Crews in a pretty good Kickoff Show match and as Samson puts it, tonight is the “encore.”

While they are outside the ring, Elias Samson kicks Titus O’Neil in the shin. While Samson recovers in the ring, Crews checks on his friend. By the time Crews gets to the ring, he is attacked by Samson, who puts him away with Drift Away. Even though it was a loss, Crews gave a great performance. Winner: Elias Samson

In-ring Segment
Curt Hawkins is in the ring looking to break his 118-match losing streak when the challenge is answered by Braun Strowman. Hawkins tries to run away, but Strowman intercepts and assaults Hawkins. After chokeslamming Hawkins through a table, he powerslams him through the LED board.

Braun Strowman vs. Dean Ambrose
After destroying Hawkins, Strowman comes down to the ring and says that he is on a “path of destruction” until he gets a real fight, then he issues a challenge of his own. Dean Ambrose, who is known for being out of his mind, accepts and attempts to fight the Monster Among Men.

Ambrose, as usual, puts up a good fight but he makes a mistake when he attempts an elbow drop from the top turnbuckle. Strowman catches him and hits him with his signature powerslam to secure the victory. Winner: Braun Strowman

Alexa Bliss Promo
After successfully defeating Bayley, Sasha Banks, Emma, and Nia Jax, Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss gloats about how she cleaned out the “entire Raw Women’s Division.” In the middle of this, Bliss is interrupted by Mickie James. They go back and forth before James refers to what Bliss said on Raw Talk last week. One Bliss repeats it and calls James and “old lady,” the former six-time Women’s Champion slaps her twice before sending her out of the ring with a superkick. It looks like Bliss might have her next challenger.

Sheamus (w/Cesaro) vs. Seth Rollins
While Dean Ambrose is staying in the back recovering from his match against Braun Strowman, Cesaro (who has stitches in his mouth after getting his top two teeth shoved through his gums) is at ringside to support his partner and the other half of The Bar, Sheamus. The Bar failed to capture the Raw Tag Team Championships for the third time last night so after Cesaro gets oral surgery, they have to climb the ladder like everybody else.

The match is very back and forth and after Rollins hits a knee, he falls into the cover to pick up the win over the Celtic Warrior. Winner: Seth Rollins

Backstage Segment
When Bray Wyatt was feuding with Finn Balor, he used Goldust as an example to prove his point. Goldust approaches Balor in the backstage area and says that he does not want to be seen as the victim and he didn’t want Balor’s help with Wyatt a couple weeks ago. Goldust then attacks Balor, leaving him lying in the hallway.

The Miz (w/The Miztourage) vs. Roman Reigns
After all of the events that unfolded on MizTV, we have the Intercontinental Champion taking on the Big Dog.

Even with the help of the Miztourage, The Miz fails to put Reigns away. Reigns fight off Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel before finishing The Miz off with a spear. After the match, The Miztourage attacks Reigns from behind. Reigns fights out for a minute, but with the numbers game and some steel chairs, the three men lay Reigns out. Winner: Roman Reigns

Finn Balor vs. Goldust
After Goldust attacked Finn Balor earlier tonight, Kurt Angle made an official match between the two.

Balor overcomes some hurt ribs to defeat the veteran Goldust with the Coup de Grace, which luckily he only needs his feet for. Winner: Finn Balor

Sasha Banks & Bayley vs. Nia Jax & Emma
While Alexa Bliss has a new rival in Mickie James, all four women who lost last night will duke it out in a tag team match. Nia Jax and Emma reluctantly tagged before and after they won, Jax attacked Emma.

Bayley and Sasha Banks work together to dispose of Nia Jax and with the 2-on-1 advantage, Bayley finishes off Emma with the Bayley-to-Belly to pick up her first win since returning last week. Winners: Sasha Banks & Bayley

Announcements
Two huge matches have been made for next week’s episode of Raw. First, Seth Rollins will take on Braun Strowman. Second, Roman Reigns will challenge The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship.

Certified G Championship Celebration
Last night, Enzo Amore shocked the world by defeating Neville to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion. Well, he did low blow the King of the Cruiserweights to get his first title in his WWE career, but it does not stop Smacktalker Skywalker from celebrating.

Amore gloats for a few minutes before the entire 205 Live roster appears on the stage in protest. The champ smack talks his way through most of them before Neville shows up. On the half of the entire Cruiserweight Division, he tears through Amore both verbally and physically.
