The Houston Rockets unveiled new uniforms and an updated logo ahead of the 2026-27 season. The organization announced three primary designs: a white set, a black set and a red set.
The white and red uniforms include yellow highlights, while the black uniform incorporates the Jumpman logo as the foundation for its yellow accents. Each kit is presented as part of the franchise’s refreshed visual identity.
The color choices intentionally evoke a past era of the franchise. The team said the red-and-yellow palette recalls the “ketchup and mustard” uniforms worn by the Rockets’ 1994 and 1995 title squads.
Several uniform elements also nod to Houston’s role in the U.S. space program. The city is home to NASA’s Johnson Space Center, and the new branding includes a “Dunkstronaut” alternate logo that ties the basketball designs to that space heritage.
The Rockets’ primary logo received changes as well, featuring a yellow drop shadow, revised wordmarks and two quasars positioned on either side of the word “Houston.” The updates are intended to accompany the new uniform rollout for 2026-27.
