Ronda Rousey Will Own Wrestlemania 34 – Ever since Ronda Rousey appeared at the Royal Rumble this year, the watch has been on for her in-ring debut. She said nothing at the Rumble but she did point at the Wrestlemania 34 sign high above the ring and the WWE has poured time into her debut on television. Here, the WWE has hit the mark telling a compelling story where Rousey has had to say little. They have people’s attention.

Rousey signed a contract to fight at Wrestlemania on the WWE’s television show. In that sequence the”rowdy” one also put WWE exec and former champion Triple “H” through a table and she took a slap from company owner  Stephanie McMahon. It is now clear that what we are going to see at Wrestlemania 34 is a mixed tag match where Rousey is paired with Kurt Angle to face off against Triple”H” and McMahon.

The fact that Rousey is getting to work with two experienced and legendary wrestlers in Triple “H” and Angle for her debut tells you a lot about the expectations the former UFC champion enters WWE with.

The women’s division in the WWE is giving them equal billing to the men as of late and the division has shined. The Royal Rumble is one of the WWE’s “big four” PPV’s and the men’s side saw solid drama as Shinsuke Nakamura defeated the field and then called out AJ Styles at this year’s ‘Mania. Later, at the Elimination Chamber PPV, Roman Reigns would win that grueling match to challenge Brock Lesnar.

But it was te ladies who stole the show at the Rumble. The women’s “Royal Rumble” was the first of it’s kind and the WWE used past and present ladies to fill the 30-woman field. Japan’ awesome Asuka won the bout in a match that was pretty much the equal of the men.

If Rousey had any type of Wrestling experience, we likely would have seen Rousey entering the Royal Rumble. Instead, the WWE left her appearance for a surprise at the very end of the show.

Triple “H” returning to the ring to face Kurt Angle is a big thing in wrestling. Both men are hall of famers at the end of their careers and they are using their name and pedigree to put Rousey over on the Company’s biggest stage – that says a lot. Rousey and Angle will win and Rousey will move into a crowded and talent filled ladies division.

With Asuka, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and the giant Nya Jax, the WWE has the women’s roster filled with top level talent. Rousey’s appearance at Wrestlemania will go a long way towards telling us if we are going to see her enter the roster and perform on a weekly basis on one of the TV shows or whether she is going to get the “Lesnar” treatment. She may very well appear only part time with her new gig, coming in and dominating and then taking a break. If Rousey does not comealong onthe wrestling and this might be the way to go.

Lesnar will face Reigns in the WM34 headliner, but that is a match the WWE has telegraphed for years. The most anticipated event of Wrestlemania 34 is already the in-ring debut of Rousey. You can only make your debut once and everyone wants to know, Can Ronda Rousey actually wrestle?
