Sacramento Kings at Memphis Grizzlies ATS Prediction

The Kings will be looking for a similar result after topping the San Antonio Spurs in their last contest, 104-99, as 2.5-point underdogs. The game’s combined points (203) came in well under the O/U total of 220. Sacramento’s turnover percentage was their largest advantage over San Antonio. The Kings had a rate of 11.6 (better than their season average of 12.4), while the Spurs posted a mark of 13.8 (above their season average of 10.6). Willie Cauley-Stein played a pivotal role for Sacramento with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

In the Grizzlies’ previous matchup, they edged the Milwaukee Bucks, 116-113, despite being 9.5-point underdogs. The game’s combined points (229) were well over the projected point total of 213. The aggressive Memphis offense might be getting to the foul line a lot in this showdown. The Grizzlies currently rank fifth in the league with a free throw attempt (FTA) rate of 0.237, while Sacramento ranks 15th in FTA rate allowed (0.208). This will be the second game of the season between these two teams. In the first, the Grizzlies lost 97-92, unable to cover as 3-point favorites. Mike Conley scored a game-high 27 points and also recorded six rebounds and five assists. The game finished with a total of 189 points, which was 31.5 points below the projected point total of 220.5 points.
