Mohamed Salah remains the most conspicuous name. The Egypt superstar is set to leave Liverpool after a decade at Anfield, though his next destination has not been revealed. RB Leipzig teenager Yan Diomande has emerged as another player whose transfer profile is rising. The 19-year-old won Bundesliga Rookie of the Year after a breakout season and drew attention at the Africa Cup of Nations following his early professional steps with Leganes. Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool have been reported among clubs monitoring him. Diomande produced a mesmerising display on his World Cup debut against Ecuador, and Ivory Coast head coach Emerse Faé said journalists in France were reporting a PSG move while others were linking the youngster to Liverpool; Faé added that Diomande will focus on the World Cup before thinking about his next career step.
Brahim Díaz also enters the tournament with transfer talk surrounding him. Italian media have tipped the Morocco international for a summer move to Juventus, although La Gazzetta dello Sport reported Justin Kluivert has emerged as an alternative target, leaving Díaz’s status on Juve’s list unclear.
