San Francisco Giants vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Free Preview 06/29/18

The San Francisco Giants will head east to face off against their division rival Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field. Fox Sports Arizona will broadcast the matchup and the game is scheduled to get underway at 9:40 p.m. ET.

San Francisco Giants vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Odds

San Francisco (+135) is entering this game as the underdog to Arizona (-145) and oddsmakers have put the Over/Under for this one at eight runs (-120 for the over and +100 for the under). The game’s most recent runline odds stand at -160 for picking the Giants +1.5 runs and +140 for the Diamondbacks -1.5.

The Giants have gone 42-40 SU this year and are 44-37 against the spread (ATS). They’ve gained 8.7 units for moneyline bettors and 6.0 units ATS. San Francisco has covered the spread only twice over its last seven games and the under has hit in five of those seven. The Diamondbacks, on the other hand, are 47-34 SU and 43-37 ATS. The Arizona offense has produced 4.4 runs per contest, including 5.0 per game against divisional foes and 3.8 per game over its last five. The team has a slash-line of .223/.291/.355 over its last five matchups and is 4-1 SU during that stretch.

Left fielder David Peralta and first baseman Paul Goldschmidt have led the Diamondbacks’ batters this year. Peralta is slashing .278/.345/.503 with 15 home runs, 44 RBIs and 37 runs scored, while Goldschmidt’s line sits at .267/.376/.524 with 17 homers, 42 RBIs and 56 runs scored.

The Giants have gained 2.6 units and are 16-16 ATS when facing a lefty starter this season. The over has cashed in 19 of those games, compared to 13 that’ve gone under in such games.
